Nandere Seminary is a Minor Seminary in Uganda that trains youth intending to become priests and future good Christians and Citizens of Uganda located in Kasana Luweero Diocese. The seminary was founded
by the Late Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga when he was still the Bishop of Kasana Luweero Diocese in 2001.
It was established at Nandere Mission Ground, the Home parish of the youngest “Ugandan Marty St. Kizito” Thus the seminary name St. Kizito Minor Seminary Nandere. The Seminary was officially opened on 1st March 2003 by then the Papal Nuncio to Uganda His Excellency Archbishop Christopher Pierre. The seminary started with Eleven (11) Seminarians but the number has had a steady growth to over two hundred and fifty (250) Seminarians currently. The Seminary is run by a staff of seven (7) priests.
